DAWN REITER, DVM, CVMA

Dr. Dawn Reiter is the owner and veterinarian at Pawz Veterinary Clinic, a practice she founded 13 years ago. Her love for animals started long before she became a veterinarian. Growing up on a farm in Nebraska, she was surrounded by animals from an early age and knew they would always be an important part of her life.

Dr. Reiter earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Iowa State University. After graduation, she completed a one-year veterinary internship at a state-of-the-art, 24-hour emergency hospital in New Jersey. This experience provided her with extensive training in all aspects of veterinary medicine, and helped shape the compassionate, comprehensive approach she brings to her patients today.

In 2011, Dr. Reiter expanded her veterinary expertise by earning her Medical Acupuncture for Veterinarians certification through Colorado State University. She enjoys incorporating different approaches to veterinary medicine when they can improve her patients’ comfort, health, and quality of life.

Dr. Reiter is proud to have built Pawz Veterinary Clinic into a place where pets and their people feel like part of the family. She currently lives in Firestone, Colorado, with her twins, Brodie and Mila.

When she’s not caring for her patients, Dr. Reiter enjoys playing volleyball, roller skating with friends, and keeping up with her twins and all of their adventures. Her life outside the clinic is just as busy—and she wouldn’t have it any other way!

MANDI

Mandi was born and raised in Colorado. She has one dog named Woody Jack. She is a loving wife and mother of one wonderful son. She has been a veterinary technician for over 11 years now. She found her way to Pawz veterinary clinic and will be her forever home. In her off time she loves to be out doors, especially during the fall. She also loves watching her son wrestle.
